Homelessness
Queens Cross Housing Association and Maryhill Housing do not have emergency or temporary accommodation. As the demand for social housing is much greater than the available supply of homes, it can take a long time for applicants to be housed by us. If you are homeless or think that you will become homeless soon, you should contact your local authority for assistance.

Homelessness Prevention
Our allocation policies are focused on homelessness prevention and securing settled housing for homeless households as quickly as possible.
Where possible we will prevent homelessness by working with applicants using the housing options approach. We are committed to our duty to accommodate homeless applicants under Section 5 of the Housing (Scotland) Act 2001. We work in partnership with Glasgow City Council to assist in meeting the statutory responsibilities including Housing First and the Rapid Rehousing Transition Plan.
