Housing for older people with Queens Cross Housing Association
Queens Cross Housing Association's Wellbeing 60+ Service helps people aged 60 or over, who have a qualifying health and support need, to manage their tenancy as age related health and mobility concerns reduce their confidence. The “OK Each Day” service provides reassurance as it facilitates a daily check in to ensure that the service user is safe and well. The 60+ staff team action escalation checks to ensure safety and wellbeing if contact is not made with “OK Each Day” on a daily basis.
If you enter a tenancy with Queens Cross Housing Association and accept the Wellbeing 60+ enhanced housing management service, staff will provide regular contact so that you can live independently at home and in the community. The service provides advice and assistance to you which can include helping to arrange repairs or adaptations, accessing money and benefits advice, providing updates about events and activities in the local area or getting help from other services, if you require a care service to meet your individual needs.
When entering into a Wellbeing 60+ tenancy with Queens Cross Housing Association, you will be provided with more details of what comes with an enhanced housing management tenancy. Some Queens Cross properties are earmarked for applicants who use the Wellbeing 60+ Service. This will be clearly stated on the property advert.
The Wellbeing 60+ service is only available to Queens Cross Housing Association tenants.
